Daily departure
Arrive in Haneda or Narita Airport. Meet your guide, and into a private vehicle for a transfer to a hotel recommended by us in the city. Use this day to rest up or take some time to explore the modern capital.

Start the day with a visit to Ushiku Daibutsu, one of the tallest Buddha statues in the world. Standing at 120 meters, it’s an impressive sight both inside and out. Next, head to Hitachi Seaside Park. Spring brings endless fields of blue nemophila stretching to the horizon. Return to Tokyo in the evening for dinner.

Visit Ashikaga Flower Park to see the cascading wisteria tunnels and the Great Wisteria over 150 years old. Then head to Kawagoe, a town that preserves the atmosphere of Japan’s Edo period. Walk through the warehouse district, where clay-walled buildings now house shops filled with local sweets, crafts, and antiques. If timing is right, carp streamers may be spotted fluttering above the streets, marking the season. End the day with dinner in Tokyo.

Travel to Hakone, a region known for its peaceful scenery. Cruise across Lake Ashi, where clear days reveal Mt. Fuji in the distance. Take the ropeway to Owakudani, an active geothermal area with steaming vents. Try the famous black eggs cooked by the sulphuric waters. In the afternoon, visit Gotemba Outlet for some shopping until evening.

Head to the Shibazakura Festival where bright pink flowers spread across the landscape with Mt. Fuji towering in the background. Continue to Saiko Iyashi no Sato, a restored thatched-roof village that showcases traditional architecture and local crafts. At Oishi Park, see more seasonal flowers lining the shores of Lake Kawaguchi before returning to Tokyo for the evening.
Your next destination? Home sweet home. But remember, it's not sayonara yet, it's "See you soon!" The question is, where to from here?
