Today is dedicated to Bhutan's most famous landmark, Taktsang Monastery, better known as Tiger's Nest.

The hike takes you through pine forests draped with prayer flags before reaching the sacred monastery dramatically perched on a cliff face above the valley. According to Bhutanese tradition, Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a flying tigress and meditated in a cave that remains a pilgrimage site today.
