Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where your East African safari adventure begins. After meeting your local safari guide, transfer into Nairobi and settle into your hotel in the heart of the city's central business district. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax after your journey or explore the vibrant capital at your own pace.

After breakfast, journey northwest towards the spectacular Great Rift Valley, stopping at the famous Rift Valley Viewpoint for panoramic photographs before continuing to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch before heading out on your first game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya's premier wildlife parks and among the country's best places to encounter both endangered black and white rhinos. The park is also home to lions, Cape buffalo, Rothschild's giraffes, Burchell's zebras, waterbuck, impalas, warthogs and the elusive leopard. Birdwatchers will appreciate the incredible diversity, with more than 300 recorded bird species.

Following an early breakfast, travel south towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Characterised by vast golden savannahs and rolling grasslands, the Mara offers some of Africa's finest wildlife viewing experiences.

Arrive at the intimate Tipilikwani Luxury Tented Camp in time for lunch before embarking on your first game drive. You'll also visit a traditional Maasai Manyatta (village) to gain a deeper understanding of the Maasai people's rich traditions and way of life. Meet local villagers, learn about their customs, and experience one of East Africa's most iconic cultures.

After an early breakfast, begin your cross-border journey from Kenya into Tanzania. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the Isebania–Sirari border while your guide assists with immigration formalities before transferring to a Tanzania-registered safari vehicle.

Continue into the legendary Serengeti National Park, Tanzania's oldest and most iconic national park. Covering nearly 15,000 square kilometres, the Serengeti is internationally renowned for its endless plains and the spectacular Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras.

Note: This is a long travel day of approximately 10 hours, depending on road conditions and border formalities.

Today is dedicated to exploring the magnificent Serengeti. With a picnic lunch prepared, venture deep into the park for a full day's safari across its endless plains.

The Serengeti offers extraordinary wildlife encounters throughout the year, including large lion prides, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and countless grazing animals. The ever-changing landscapes provide spectacular photographic opportunities throughout the day.

Optional Experience: Dawn hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti, followed by a champagne breakfast.

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and journey towards the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, visit Olduvai Gorge, one of the world's most significant archaeological sites, where some of humanity's earliest ancestors were discovered. Enjoy a short presentation by the resident guide before continuing your journey.

Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing while enjoying sweeping views across one of Africa's most spectacular natural wonders.

Note: Evenings on the crater rim can be chilly, so a warm jacket or cardigan is recommended.

Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's richest wildlife sanctuaries. Here you'll find lions, black rhinos, elephants, Cape buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, cheetahs, leopards, spotted hyenas, jackals, hippos, warthogs and numerous antelope species living within this unique ecosystem.

Beyond its exceptional wildlife, the crater is also of immense archaeological importance due to discoveries made nearby at Olduvai Gorge. Hundreds of bird species inhabit its lakes and wetlands, making it equally rewarding for bird enthusiasts.

After breakfast, continue to Tarangire National Park, arriving in time for lunch before setting off on an afternoon game drive.

Tarangire is renowned for its iconic baobab trees and one of Tanzania's largest elephant populations. During the dry season, hundreds of elephants gather along the Tarangire River while migratory herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, impalas, gazelles, hartebeest and eland congregate around the remaining water sources.

The park is also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, spotted hyenas and caracals, while bird enthusiasts can look forward to spotting more than 500 bird species.

After an early breakfast, travel towards the Namanga border where you will complete immigration formalities before transferring back into Kenyan safari vehicles.

Arrive in Amboseli National Park for lunch before enjoying an afternoon game drive. Famous for its magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli offers one of Africa's most iconic safari landscapes. The park is home to large elephant herds, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, baboons, wildebeest, gazelles, hippos and more than 400 bird species.
