Travel by high-speed bullet train from Chengdu to Chongqing Railway Station or arrive at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport (own arrangement) with private transfer arrangement.  

Upon arrival, meet your local guide and begin a half-day exploration of China's vibrant mountain city.

Start at the Chongqing Three Gorges Museum, where fascinating exhibits showcase the history of the Yangtze River, the Three Gorges region, and the evolution of Chongqing.

Continue to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, the city's bustling commercial heart, lined with shopping malls, local eateries, and lively streets that capture the energy of modern Chongqing.

As night falls, visit the iconic Hongya Cave, where traditional stilted buildings perched along the riverside are beautifully illuminated, creating one of Chongqing's most spectacular and photogenic nightscapes.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day exploration of Chongqing, a dynamic mountain metropolis where modern architecture blends seamlessly with centuries of history.

Begin your journey at Eling Park, the city's oldest private garden. Perched on one of Chongqing's highest points, the park offers lush greenery, tranquil walking paths, and panoramic views overlooking the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers.

Next, head to the Liziba Viewing Platform, home to Chongqing's world-famous light rail. Watch as the train passes directly through the middle of a residential building, an extraordinary engineering feat that has become one of the city's most iconic attractions.

Continue with a walk along the historic Shancheng Walkway, a hillside trail that winds through traditional neighbourhoods, stone staircases, and narrow alleyways. This charming route provides an authentic glimpse into the daily lives of local residents while showcasing the city's distinctive mountainous landscape.

Visit the Huguang Guild Hall, a beautifully preserved architectural complex dating back to the Qing Dynasty. Once a gathering place for merchants from southern China, the guild hall features elegant courtyards, intricate wood carvings, and traditional opera stages that reflect Chongqing's rich commercial and cultural heritage.

Conclude your day at Ciqikou Ancient Town, a historic riverside settlement with a history spanning over 1,000 years. Wander through its cobbled streets lined with traditional teahouses, artisan shops, local snack stalls, and well-preserved architecture, where the charm of old Chongqing continues to thrive.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Wulong, located approximately 2.5 hours from Chongqing. Renowned as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Wulong is celebrated for its spectacular karst landscapes, dramatic limestone formations, and breathtaking natural scenery.

Wulong Karst Is Landscape That Feels Almost Unreal

Your first stop is Xiannvshan National Forest Park (Fairy Mountain), often referred to as the "Eastern Switzerland" for its vast alpine meadows, rolling grasslands, dense forests, and cool mountain climate. Take in the refreshing scenery as you admire sweeping views of the surrounding peaks and open landscapes.

Continue to the magnificent Three Natural Bridges, one of China's most extraordinary geological wonders. Formed over millions of years, these colossal limestone arches span a deep valley, creating a spectacular landscape of towering cliffs, lush vegetation, caves, and natural stone bridges. The area gained international recognition as a filming location for Transformers: Age of Extinction and is one of Chongqing's most iconic natural attractions.

After exploring Wulong's remarkable landscapes, return to Chongqing for the evening.

  • The visit to Three Natural Bridges Scenic Area involves approximately 2 hours of walking, including slopes, stairways, and uneven paths. It may not be suitable for elderly guests or those with limited mobility.
  • Manual sedan chair service is available in selected sections of the scenic area (not throughout the entire route). Guests requiring assistance may arrange this service on-site at their own expense
