Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Arrive at Chinggis Khaan International Airport in the early hours, meet your friendly guide and transfer to Ulaanbaatar for hotel check-in and rest before your adventure begins.
Day 2: Ulaanbaatar City Highlights
After breakfast, explore the spiritual heart of the city at Gandan Buddhist Monastery before diving into Mongolia’s fascinating past at the Chinggis Khaan Museum. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, shop for fine Mongolian cashmere and browse the State Department Store. In the evening, be enchanted by a traditional folklore concert followed by dinner, before returning to your hotel.
Day 3: Chinggis Khaan Statue & Terelj National Park
Head out to marvel at the world’s largest equestrian statue of Chinggis Khaan before continuing to the winter wonderland of Terelj National Park. After a hearty camp lunch, feel the rush of dog sledding across a frozen lake, then wind down with dinner and a cosy night at your ger camp resort.
Day 4: Nomadic Life & Ulaanbaatar Heritage
Wake up in Terelj and visit iconic Turtle Rock and Ariyabal Meditation Temple for sweeping views of the snow-covered horizon. Spend time with a nomadic family and try horseback riding through the steppe before enjoying a camp lunch. Returning to Ulaanbaatar, stop at Zaisan Memorial Hill for city views and visit the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum, then enjoy a farewell dinner in the capital.
Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey, leaving Mongolia with memories of snow, culture and adventure to last a lifetime.
