Namaste and welcome to Nepal! Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, pass through immigration and customs where you will be met and greet by our local representative and meet your private tour guide. Afterwards, you’ll transfer to your hotel.
Kathmandu, the busy, colourful and chaotic capital city of Nepal. Centuries of history are revealed in shrines, hidden temples and narrow backstreets, and the Himalaya provides a spectacular backdrop to this intoxicating city. Upon arrival check-in at hotel.

Take a walk through the township adorned with centuries old temples, houses, and
market squares.

Your hike starts with the crossing of Rosi Khola and puts you on a dirt road, heading in a south-east direction, through a seemingly endless chain of verdant paddy fields. This is the countryside reminiscent of Kathmandu valley decades ago before the cultural crosscurrents of modernity brought about the sea change. Piercing through the paddy fields interspersed with short stretches of pine forest, past sporadic settlements of multi-ethnic community and greeted by ever so welcoming smiling faces, you gradually descend to the winding Rosi Khola again. A wooden bridge provides a pathway to the other side of the stream signaling the gently climbing rough road up through the fields to the thickly forested retreat of Balthali Village Resort graced with soothing tranquility and commanding views of the verdant villages and farms, rising above which is the mighty Himalayas in the horizon.
