Day 1: Islamabad - Arrival

As you arrive at Islamabad International Airport, the cheerful team from Hunza Adventure Tours will be ready to welcome you with genuine smiles and warm hospitality.

Day 2: Islamabad – Naran Valley

Day 3: Naran Valley – Fairy Meadows

Upon arrival, settle into a cozy hut and take some time to unwind. Day 4: Trek – Nanga Parbat Base Camp

Today, gear up for an exhilarating hike from Fairy Meadows to Beyal Camp and then to Nanga Parbat Base Camp. Set off on a spectacular drive towards the breathtaking Hunza Valley, where every turn reveals dramatic mountain scenery. Along the way, pause at iconic viewpoints, including the stunning Nanga Parbat viewpoint and the legendary junction point where the Karakoram, Himalaya, and Hindu Kush ranges meet. Continue with a stop at the magnificent Rakaposhi viewpoint, offering unforgettable views of one of the region’s most iconic peaks. Day 6: Karimabad Hunza Valley

We will begin by visiting the historic Baltit Fort, followed by a stroll through the local bazaar in Karimabad. We will then explore Altit Fort and the charming old village of Altit. After enjoying lunch, we will take a leisurely walk along the water channel. In the evening, we will drive up to Eagle’s Nest for a sunset photo safari, offering breathtaking views. You will spend the night in Karimabad, Hunza.

Day 7: Karimabad – Hopper Valley – Gulmit Hunza

Distance: 180 km / Driving Time: 4 hrs / Altitude: 2,500 m / Activities: Sightseeing

Drive toward the scenic Hopper Valley, stopping at the 1,000-year-old Ganish Village. In Hopper, enjoy a short hike to the stunning Hopper Glacier, followed by lunch in a peaceful mountain setting. Continue to Attabad Lake, pausing at the sacred Hunza Rock along the way. At the lake, relax with a boating experience on its turquoise waters. End the day in Gulmit, where you will check in to your hotel and enjoy a restful night in the heart of Upper Hunza.

Day 8: Gulmit – Borith Lake – Suspension Bridge

Distance: 85 km / Driving Time: 2 hrs / Altitude: 2,500 m / Activities: Sightseeing

This day promises to be filled with fascinating experiences. It will begin with a short drive to the serene Borith Lake, followed by a hike to the breathtaking viewpoint of the Passu White Glacier. After taking in the spectacular scenery, we will head back to Gulmit Village, stopping en route to visit the iconic Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Following lunch in Gulmit, we will explore the village, immersing ourselves in its rich culture and charm. After completing our visit, we will return to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 9: Excursion – Khunjerab Pass

Distance: 272 km / Driving Time: 7 hrs / Altitude: 4,733 m / Activities: Sightseeing

Full-day excursion to Khunjerab Pass (the border between Pakistan and China). In the golden days, there were few high passes leading from China that were suitable for travel. Today, Khunjerab Pass, at an altitude of 4,733 m, is the highest paved international border crossing in the world on the Karakoram Highway, providing an all-weather route between Pakistan and China’s Xinjiang province. This route offers a spectacular drive with views of the Karakoram mountains and the distant Pamir range. Khunjerab National Park is home to wildlife such as the snow leopard and Himalayan ibex. In the evening, return to the hotel.

Day 10: Gulmit – Gilgit
